The group's last album release was last Nov's H+ .
Only 1 single is included in S say ie. Hey ! Say ! JUMP's 35th single encore .
The new album's title is pronounced as 'essay' . S say is Hey ! Say ! JUMP's 1st album release as a now 7 members group after the departure of former member Nakajima Yuto in late Aug .
S say invites listeners into a grand , story like world where each song is performed & woven together with richness + depth .
Centered around songs that fully showcase Hey ! Say ! JUMP's charm , S say is packed with musical expressions . The "S" in S say like H+ represents Hey ! Say ! JUMP themselves .
2 album tracks have videos made :
- Symphony ; lead album promo track ; described as a classical no.
Symphonic & classically inspired number that embodies the S of S say with a powerful sense of life
- Melori ; described as pop infused & promises to captivate fans with a dynamic dance performance bursting with idol energy
Track 4 RUN THIS WORLD was chosen to be used as a collaboration song for Japan Racing Association's 70th Arima Kinen promotional project DIVE into ARIMA .
In addition , prior digital released song GHOST (released on 8th Oct) is also included in S say .
Hey ! Say ! JUMP invites you into a world of epic tales in their new album S say ! Following from H+ , the group continues to bring new entertainment & experiences in their 12th album with songs spanning across different genres . Lead track Symphony is a symphonic vibrant number that perfectly symbolises the S of this album while Melori is a full-on idol dance pop song .
I enjoyed H+ & S Say felt like an extension of what H+ offered . For those who did not like the group's last album then S say could be something they might sit out of .
The 2 album tracks that had videos made in S say , both Melori & Symphony are very different from each other although for me I feel that Scale It Up should have a video made & also probably Serenity as I thought both are video worthy made tracks .
Some of Hey ! Say ! JUMP's past album releases , 1 common problem some of them had was that they had a lot of album filler tracks but luckily now they more or less prioritise quality over quantity which's what I felt towards H+ & now S say .
On that note , Hey ! Say ! JUMP will kick off 2026 with the release of their 36th single Hanikami which will be released on 11th Feb .
Fukuyama's latest new song release features B'z's vocalist Inaba Koshi .
Promo wise , Mokusei was chosen to promote the movie Last Man -FIRST LOVE- starring Fukuyama himself .
The Last Man -FIRST LOVE- movie was released on the same day as Mokusei .
Song credits wise , Koshi wrote the lyrics while Fukuyama arranged , composed & produced Mokusei .
Fukuyama's previous digital released song Ryu was stellar & I thought Ryu would have been the last new song he released for the year but he proved me wrong with the release of Mokusei .
Frankly I'm surprised it took so long for both Fukuyama & Inaba to create and release something together considering they've been in the business for so long and both of their music are in the same music genre .
That said the wait was worth it & Mokusei showcased how both men's vocally compliment each other extremely well .
Who knows maybe in future Fukuyama might return the favour & be featured in a new B'z song ? That would be something I love to see happen .

B'z's last album release was 2022's Highway X & their 54th single STARS is not included in their latest album .
6 songs in FYOP have different promo tie in's included as follows :
1) FMP ; Asahi Super Dry TV CM song ; released digitally on 1st Nov before FYOP's physical album release
2) Osoreruru Nakare Haihahaini ; promoted the TBS drama Ignite -Hou no Muhou Mono-
4) Muchi ; released digitally in Jan & promoted ABEMA TV's drama Informa -Yami wo Ikiru Kemonotachi-
5) INTO THE BLUE ; Citizen brand collection UNITE with BLUE CM song
8) Illumination ; released digitally last Oct & promoted NHK's drama Omusubi
9) The IIIRD Eye ; promoted the LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE Fujimi no Ketsuzoku animated movie
I enjoyed B'z's previous album Highway X considerably so naturally I wondered if their new album FYOP was able to live up to expectations & frankly it was to a certain extent .
For starters I was a bit disappointed that B'z excluded STARS from FYOP as it's still a fantastic single song but I guess they rather let newer songs take the spotlight in FYOP .
New material wise I personally like Osoreruru Nakare Haihahaini , INTO THE BLUE & The IIIRD Eye a lot and it would have been nice if either 1 of the 3 songs had a video made or 2 especially The IIIRD Eye .
In recent years B'z has not been as musically active as before especially since the time gap between their albums is quite big . But the release of FYOP shows why they're still tops even after being in the business for so long .

7) Dead Or Alive (Sekiguchi Shingo Remix)
GLAY's last single release was last May's whodunit / Share .
Promo wise Dead Or Alive was used as the opening theme song to promote the anime Shuumatsu no Walküre III .
Dead Or Alive is described as a full blown Rock anthem packed with fiery riffs pulsing bass from bassist JIRO , dramatic arrangements by guitarist HISASHI & vocalist TERU's commanding vocals .
The single was created with the Shuumatsu no Walküre III anime's intense storyline in mind . TAKURO remarked , "We produced Dead Or Alive with keeping in mind Shuumatsu no Walküre's magnificent story & the struggles of each character who cannot be judged by justice alone . Dead or Alive is a fusion of the world of thrilling action & the inherent intensity of Rock music .”
GLAY has been carrying out various activities with the theme "GLAY EXPO" for the 30th anniversary of their major music debut . After about 6 months of production , the band has finally completed their 63rd single , Dead Or Alive ! Written & composed by TAKURO , Dead Or Alive is a heavy Rock number characterised by a distinctive riff arranged by HISASHI & TERU's powerful vocals .
To say Dead or Alive is just shockingly good on 1st listen is an understatement .
Dead or Alive's strength lies in its melody which punches above its weight & the way vocalist TERU sings in this song he no doubt has a lot of swagger while singing it .
The 2 B-sides Unleashed & Higan compliment and contrast Dead or Alive extremely well . Both songs showcase a much softer musical side to GLAY which I appreciate .
Special mention goes to Higan which composer Sebu Hiroko had a hand in creating the song's melody . In this case less is definitely more as Higan is mainly piano driven .
Dead or Alive is 1 of those songs that the more I listen to it the more I enjoy it tremendously . 2025 is almost coming to an end & what better way to wrap up this year with GLAY's latest single offering .
As the song title suggests , flumpool's latest new release is a Winter song that was created after vocalist Yamamura posted on his Twitter account back in August that it has been a while since the band last put out such a song .
Yamamura comments on Snow Ghost , "I'll be happy if it becomes a song that quietly accompanies fans through the Winter . "
For such an extensive music discography it's a bit surprising flumpool does not have a lot of Winter inspired songs . So for Snow Ghost to join in the same music ranks as their past Winter inspired songs such as Snowy Nights Serenade ~Kokoro Mademo Tsunagitai~ & Present , that's always a welcome to me .
I was not expecting flumpool to release a new song before 2025 concludes but I have no complaints on this as up to now I still enjoy Shape the water a lot & I hope they will release even more new material when 2026 rolls by .
This is DOMOTO's 1st new music release from the name change of their former duo name KinKi Kids .
Ai no Katamari was originally included as the B-side in KinKi Kids' 13th single Hey! Minna Genki Kai? .
Despite being a B-side song it's quite amazing that Ai no Katamari up to now is still so beloved seeing that each member had a respective hand in writing the lyrics & composing it seperately .
Hence it's not really a surprise that when KinKi Kids changed their duo's name , Ai no Katamari was chosen as a new starting post for DOMOTO .
With an updated Christmas inspired melody & vocals this further validates what makes Ai no Katamari an all time classic song from the get go .
Promo wise , Ryu was chosen as the theme song to promote the movie Shin Kaishaku Bakumatsu-den .
On 1st listen , Ryu is a very edgy & extremely memorable song . It reminds me of Seiiki a lot & I like how just how much fun Ryu sounds especially with it having such a great melody .
Ryu is the 4th new song Fukuyama released digitally this year & it's a great song to conclude 2025 .
Hopefully Fukuyama's next new music release will be a new album as frankly it's long overdue for him to release 1 .
This's a self cover of SPYAIR's 19th single . RAGE OF DUST -New Version- digital release is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime which back then RAGE OF DUST was used as the 1st opening theme song to promote the anime's 2nd season .
RAGE OF DUST is 1 of SPYAIR's most memorable and prominent songs they have provided anime wise so it's not surprises that sooner or later they would release a new version of it featuring their new vocalist YOSUKE .
Personally RAGE OF DUST -New Version- doesn't stray so much from the original take of the song but nonetheless this's a nice way to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans anime .
