YUI - to Mother's B-sides

The following songs serve as B-sides in YUI's 16th single to Mother which will be released this coming Wed on 2nd June :
- Tonight
- GLORIA ~YUI Acoustic Version~
The A side's a stirring ode to mothers everywhere & YUI opts to drive the song with a light piano-based arrangement , giving the song a gentle & relaxing sound .
Tonight debuted at #1 with 1st week sales of 71,804 & this's YUI's 5th straight #1 single & her 7th overall #1 single that she has attained .
This same sentence cannot be applied to Tonight though . It's like a shorter version of Rolling star & I do admit it contrasts to Mother very well .
The downside of Tonight other than the fact that it's under 3 mins long is that I somehow feel that it's a bit unfinished for my liking . It might have been better for YUI to extend it to a few secs or so , just like what happened for SUMMER SONG's B-side Oh My God .
Regardless of which , this's 1 rocking B-side to listen to .
The ~YUI Acoustic Version~ of her previous single GLORIA wraps up the single & I don't need any further words to say about the acoustic take of GLORIA as it's already great in its own right & coming from someone who like acoustic songs , well I have no complaints about it .
After the release of GLORIA , YUI returns back with something different to offer to her fans in the form of her 1st piano non guitar driven ballad to Mother & I must say that there's always a 1st for everything & I think she did a pretty good job nailing the A-side quite nicely .
The same thing can be said about the B-sides too I feel .
YUI will be releasing her long awaited 4th album titled HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN on 14th July & this's her 1st album release since 2008's I LOVED YESTERDAY & to Mother will be included in HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN .

CD Review :: Acid Black Cherry - Q.E.D.
CD Only

CD + DVD Type A

CD + DVD Type B

1) Mother
2) cord name [JUSTICE]
3) Jigsaw ~Q.E.D. version~
4) Tsumi to Batsu (Crime And Punishment) ~Kamisama no Alibi~ (~God's Alibi~)
5) Nemuri Hime (Sleeping Princess)
6) Cherry Cherry
7) 1954 LOVE/HATE
8) I'm not a ghost
9) Yasashii Uso (Tender Lie)
10) Kuroi Taiyou (Black Sun)
11) Maria
12) 20+∞Century Boys
Q.E.D. is Acid Black Cherry's 2nd album & it was released on last year on 26th Aug .
Just like yasu's 1st solo album BLACK LIST , you can find 4 singles included in Q.E.D. .
Q.E.D. kicked things off with a rather cool sounding track Mother . It's not as dreary/depressing as compared to BLACK LIST's opening no. sins . Also what I like about Mother is the neat subtle orchestra strings attached to the song .
cord name [JUSTICE] is the 2nd album track & this's 1 really kick ass song that's full of fierce aggressive guitar riffs & drum beats .
Also the usage of synth on yasu's part , that kind of enhance the quality of the way cord name [JUSTICE] sounds I feel .
Jigsaw is Acid Black Cherry's 6th single & in here , it has been renamed as Jigsaw ~Q.E.D. version~ .
Well honestly to me , I can't tell of any musical difference between the single & album versions of Jigsaw .
But I can say that alongside with yasu's debut single SPELL MAGIC , Jigsaw is 1 of the more dark singles in yasu's solo discography & if you have seen the video for Jigsaw , best's to view it during the day & not at night . You don't want to get nightmares after doing so (which I did lol)
Tsumi to Batsu (Crime And Punishment) ~Kamisama no Alibi~ (~God's Alibi~) is track #4 & there's just something really cool I feel towards Tsumi to Batsu ~Kamisama no Alibi~ .
I really like the unique music structure that Tsumi to Batsu ~Kamisama no Alibi~ has & also the guitar riffs gives the song an edge it deserves & also it's catchy & 1 of the more prominent album tracks you can find in Q.E.D. .
Nemuri Hime (Sleeping Princess) is yasu's 7th single & this's actually the very 1st song I listened to from Acid Black Cherry .
I didn't know how Acid Black Cherry sounded like prior to this so I guess Nemuri Hime is 1 perfect song for me to initally get a feeling on how yasu's material's like .
What I like about Nemuri Hime is that it's a really enpowering ballad & you can feel how much emotions yasu pours into this no. which I adore .
Cherry Cherry is track #6 & this's 1 really cute song ! It has that pop flair attached to it & I must admit I was surprised when I 1st heard Cherry Cherry .
It's basically a song that gives you happy positive vibes after listening to it & it's a breathe of fresh air in Q.E.D. since you tend to get material from yasu which lies on the dark moody side so Cherry Cherry is something I really welcome from him .
1954 LOVE/HATE places quite a heavy emphasis on the synth factor . You can hear quite a lot of it in the beginning of 1954 LOVE/HATE being used quite freely & this doesn't stop til the song concluded .
I'm not a ghost is the 6th album track & despite the weird song title , it's basically a standard & rather dark rock song that yasu delivers . I can hear slight traces of SPELL MAGIC in here too .
Yasashii Uso (Tender Lie) is Acid Black Cherry's 8th single & the guitar piece of the song was played by BREAKERZ's AKIHIDE since he serves as a support guitarist to yasu's solo project .
I really like Yasahii Uso on 1st listen . It's a mid tempo rock no. that's quite piano driven & while it's nothing like Nemuri Hime , it's 1 of the those songs that you can visualis puppets , marionettes & etc being found/used in the video .
I know it sounds strange but I had that image of Yasahii Uso & the video which accompanied the song can be considered as probably 1 of my fave videos of Acid Black Cherry as it managed to convey the messages that the song want to deliver .
Kuroi Taiyou (Black Sun) is the 2nd last album track & woah the introduction for Kuroi Taiyou really caught me by surprise .
It's still synth driven but this's accompanied very well with fast paced guitar riffs & drum beats .
Maria is track #11 & it's the final album track of Q.E.D . It's also the longest track in the album , at 6:37 mins .
I thought yasu might cover DAIGO☆STARDUST's debut single MARIA since other than being friends with DAIGO , yasu released a cover titled Recreation 2 years ago on 21st May but that's not the case when I gave Maria a listen .
Despite being the longest track in Q.E.D. , it can be considered as the only album ballad & I like it that the song began to switch from a piano driven melody to 1 that's basically full force upbeat rock & the guitar riffs are in full swing here & also the song concluded in an unusual gospel tinged like manner which yasu backed up by kids's voices .
So basically for Maria's case , you have a lot of things going on in here . It might sound messy & musically complicated but yasu managed to make things work in his favour .
20+∞Century Boys is Acid Black Cherry's 5th single & it's also the last single & let alone song in Q.E.D. .
Just like Cherry Cherry , 20+∞Century Boys is pretty much in the same music vein as Cherry Cherry since both songs have a somewhat pop influence to it & it's not a typical music direction that yasu follows so it's nice not to take everything so dark , depressing most of the time in his solo discography material .
Q.E.D. is pretty much chapter 2 of what you expect from Acid Black Cherry . I can detect quite a significant growth & maturity in yasu's 2nd solo album offering .
Compared to BLACK LIST , Q.E.D. is not all moody & gloomy . Songs such as Cherry Cherry & 20+∞Century Boys displayed somewhat cheery sides to yasu & the whole package that Q.E.D. presented to me is more tight & less random .
Not to mention , the singles that made the cut in Q.E.D I feel are a lot more solid as compared to the singles you can find in BLACK LIST .
yasu will be releasing his 2nd cover album Recreation 2 on 30th June & among the songs that yasu cover , there's 1 song that he will duet with BREAKERZ's frontman DAIGO which's a cover of CRYSTALKING's Daitokai (Big City) .
I don't know how the original sounds like since it's a very old song which was released way back in 1979 but I'm sure it's going to be something for me to look out for , since other than the fact that both are really good friends & hold each other in high esteem , it's going to be interesting for me to hear what both guys have in store in their remake of Daitokai .

KAT-TUN - Going !
CD Only Regular Edition

1) Going !
2) FALL DOWN (CD Only Track)
3) Going ! (Instrumental) (CD Only Track)
4) FALL DOWN (Instrumental) (CD Only Track)
CD Only Limited Edition

1) Going !
2) I DON'T MISS U (Tanaka Koki's Solo) (CD Only Limited Edition Track)
3) Answer (Nakamaru Yuichi's Solo) (CD Only Limited Edition Track)
CD + DVD

1) Going !
2) SMILE (CD + DVD Track)
Going ! is KAT-TUN's 12th single & it was released on 12th May .
Their new single is currently used as the theme song for the NTV show Going ! Sports & News , featuring Kamenashi Kazuya as a special weekly commentator for the duration of the baseball season .
This comes 3 months + since the release of their previous single Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~ (~I Hate You I Love You~) .
Going ! is the group's 1st single since 2006's Bokura no Machi de (In Our Town) not to include the vocals of 2nd co lead vocalist Akanishi Jin .
The song was recorded in late March , around the time of Akanishi's US solo concert announcement . Because Akanishi is excluded from the group's Area / 1st Asian tours and from any promotional events for the single , it was decided that the other five members would record the song without him .
I wouldn't deny that when I 1st got the chance to listen to Going ! , I was extremely disappointed & I found it really bland as well it's something that's not their style at all since they specialise in doing harder rock edge tunes & not pop songs like Going ! & let alone Yorokobi no Uta (Song Of Joy) .
It's ironic that the writing/composer credits for both Going ! & Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~ were done by the same people too . I'm not sure if it's because Akanishi's not present in Going ! which might probably explained how sub par I felt the song was initally .
Also I was scared by the introduction too . I'm fine with everything now , it's just that I suppose I will not consider Going ! as a fave A-side of the guys . It doesn't have that spark/edge it had unlike Bokura no Machi de .
There're 4 B-sides scattered all over the 3 editions of Going ! . Only found in the CD only regular edition , it's FALL DOWN .
Ah , FALL DOWN screams out KAT-TUN terrority ground on every single level ! It's mean , bad ass & just aggressive sounding . This definitely/really should have been the A-side as seem to me they're more comfortable in dishing out such songs .
Just like Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~ , you're able to find 2 solo songs in Going ! too & this time round , it's by the rapper & the beatboxer of the group which both songs are found in the CD only limited edition pressing of Going ! .
I DON'T MISS U is a standard rap track performed by Tanaka Koki . I actually have heard this song quite a long time back & I also seen the performance Tanaka did during Shounen Club Premium & let alone in the play DREAMBOYS so this's something that I'm quite familiar with .
Tanaka cowrote the song with Axel-G too .
Answer is Nakamaru Yuichi's solo track & in here , he cowrote the song with t-oga .
Nakamaru's solo tunes that he dished out in the past are really solid & the same thing applies to Answer as well . It's not as depressing sounding as White World but it's still able to maintain some semblance of coolness it has .
Finally , only found in the CD + DVD edition of the single , it's SMILE . This's the only ballad B-side available & it's really nice/sweet .
After dishing out fast thumping songs , it's nice to mellow things down in a way or 2 with SMILE .
Despite off to a shaky start with regards to Going ! , the 4 B-sides for KAT-TUN's latest single offering are really solid & totally pawns/more superior than Going ! . It's tough to carry off a single without their 2nd co lead vocalist Akanishi Jin but the reminding members managed to pull things off in a way or 2 .
The guys's 5th album NO MORE PAIИ is scheduled to be released next month on 16th June . It will be their 2nd album since cartoon KAT-TUN II you to be recorded without Akanishi .

BENI - bye bye DJ HASEBE REMIX (Yura Yura / Gimme Gimme♥'s B-side)

bye bye DJ HASEBE REMIX serves as the B-side in BENI's 8th single Yura Yura / Gimme Gimme♥ which was released on 5th May .
Yura Yura / Gimme Gimme♥ debuted at #20 , with 1st week sales of 4,434 & this's BENI's highest charting single since Mou Nido to ... (Once Again ...) which's her 1st single that's released under BENI / Universal Music Japan .
This continues on the usual trends of BENI incorporating DJ HASABE REMIX of her past A-side songs & this goes for no exception for bye bye's case .
While the original take of bye bye has a more somewhat Oriental/smooth sounds of R&B , for the DJ HASEBE REMIX of the no. , it has been transformed into a slow jammer which goes very well/in synch with subtle acoustic guitar riffs .
BENI definitely has been on a musical roll this year & this's evident in her 1st double A-side single release Yura Yura / Gimme Gimme♥ which I find it really solid overall .
Her 2nd (5th overall) album titled Lovebox will be released on 2nd June .

Matsushita Yuya - Hallucination (YOU's B-side)

Hallucination serves as the B-side in Matsushita Yuya's 5th single YOU which was released on 5th May .
YOU debuted at #18 with 1st week sales of 4,849 .
Unlike the A-side which does not have any promotion tie in , for Hallucination's case , it served as the theme song for the musical Kuroshitsuji -The Most Beautiful DEATH in The World- Sen no Tamashii to Ochita Shinigami in which Matsushita will be involved in the musicial .
I don't know if it's because of the duration of Hallucination which put me off in liking the song slightly seeing that Hallucination stands at a rather daunting 5:53 mins as compared to YOU which's 4:17 mins .
Even if so , Hallucination is not as catchy on 1st listen unlike say Negai ga Kanau Nara ... (If My Dream/Wish Comes True) ... or Futari (Two Of Us) .
But I have to admit that Hallucination contrasts YOU very nicely & it's a really nice ballad that Matsushita delivered . You can feel just how much emotions/feelings he poured into this B-side no. .
After scoring his 1st top 10 single Trust Me , Matsushita Yuya returned back in fine form with this another solid single YOU & it's great to see him mature/progress as each single release goes by .
Matsushita's long awaited debut album I AM ME is scheduled to drop on 2nd June instead of 17th March & it will contains 18 tracks , with Hallucination being included as track #16 in I AM ME .

Kanon Wakeshima - Toumei no Kagi (The Invisible Key)

Toumei no Kagi (The Invisible Key) is a 'new' song by Kanon Wakeshima which was released as a digital last year on Sept 16th .
When I say 'new' in this context , it means that I actually know about this since last year . I heard rumours that Kanon was supposed to release Toumei no Kagi as a physical single months ago but it got scrapped in a way or 2 .
Kanon's last release was her debut album Shinshoku Dolce which was released last year on 18th Feb for that matter .
Anyway for Toumei no Kagi's case , it doesn't stray that much from the type of music that she's known for .
In this case , Toumei no Kagi has more stronger drums beats (the ones that's used in school marching bands) while it maintains the famous dark classical cello sounds that Kanon's known for .
Toumei no Kagi's a great song , I'm not going to lie & Kanon will be releasing her long awaited 2nd album Shoujo Shikake no Libretto ~LOLITAWORK LIBRETTO~ on 28th July & Toumei no Kagi will be included in the album .

SID - Rain
CD Only Cover :

CD + DVD Type A Cover :

CD + DVD Type B Cover :

Rain is SID's 6th single . It will be released on 2nd June & this comes in 3 months since the release of their previous single sleep .
Composed by the group's drummer Yuya , Rain is currently being used as the opening theme song for the anime FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST & promotion was started from 4th April until now .
The guys's latest single offering shows a melancholic side of the quartet .
On 1st listen , Rain sounds like a twin cousin of their 3rd single Uso (Lie) & it just so happened that Uso was used as the 1st ending theme for FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST too .
You can definitely hear quite a strong presence of Uso in Rain to a certain extent . Not that it's a bad thing as I adore both songs & way before the full version of Rain leaked out , a 1 1/2 mins preview of Rain is always being played before FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST starts .
Personally to me , it's hard for me to pick whether I like Uso or Rain more as both are on the same calibre & it's great that SID never fails to disappoint when comes to delivering the music goods .
The following songs serve as B-sides in Rain :
- cut
- chapter 1 (Live from 『Ichiban Suki na Basho 2010』)
Ichiban Suki na Basho is the name of the group's men-only concert performance (don't ask) .

CD Review :: Acid Black Cherry - BLACK LIST
CD Only Cover :

CD + DVD Type A Cover :

CD + DVD Type B Cover :

Tracklist :
1) sins
2) Shoujo no Inori (Girl's Prayer)
3) SPELL MAGIC
4) scar
5) Aishitenai (I Don't Love You)
6) Bit Stupid
7) Rakuen (Paradise)
8) Black Cherry
9) Murder Licence
10) Fuyu no Maboroshi (Winter's Illusion)
11) DRAGON CARNIVAL
12) Prologue End
BLACK LIST is Acid Black Cherry's debut album . It was released 2 years ago on 20th Feb & its peak position on the Oricon weekly album chart was #2 .
Acid Black Cherry's 1st 4 solo singles are included in BLACK LIST & it's the name of Hayashi Yasunori's solo project & he's affectionately/respectively known as yasu in the jrock industry .
Prior to this , yasu serves as the vocalist of the Jrock band Janne Da Arc .
3 years ago on January 26th , it was announced that Janne Da Arc would be taking a break and the members would be pursuing solo careers . It wasn't until June that year in that an announcement appeared on the official site of Janne Da Arc about the start of Acid Black Cherry which's yasu's solo project .
In fact , some of the guitar pieces for Acid Black Cherry's material are played by AKIHIDE who's the current guitarist of BREAKERZ . AKIHIDE in fact serves as a support guitarist for yasu's solo project & you can catch a glimpse or 2 of AKIHIDE in Acid Black Cherry's music videos except in yasu's 3rd single Aishitenai (I Don't Love You) , but obviously not as evident/visible as compared to BREAKERZ's .
Pretty much most of Acid Black Cherry's material is solely written & composed by yasu which's impressive .
sins is the 1st track to kick off BLACK LIST & it's the 2nd longest track , clocking in at 6:05 mins .
This song sets the bar on what you roughly might expect from Acid Black Cherry , dark & somewhat moody rock music & it's quite spellbinding in a way or 2 .
I thought I might be intimidated by sins due to the title & also the somewhat long duration of the song but surprisingly I wasn't & I warmed up the opening of BLACK LIST quite nicely .
Shoujo no Inori (Girl's Prayer) is the 2nd album track & unlike sins which's more organ driven , Shoujo no Inori's more guitars & drums driven . It's a lot more fast paced than sins & it flows quite nicely to the next song in BLACK LIST .
SPELL MAGIC is Acid Black Cherry's debut single & it sounds like a cousin of Shoujo no Inori in that both are aggressive & mean rock no.s . You can hear yasu's voice being distorted on here probably on purpose too .
scar is track #4 & I actually like this song . I don't know if you can consider this as a ballad but I suppose you can as it's a lot more slow paced & somewhat mellower as compared to Shoujo no Inori & SPELL MAGIC .
Also I was quite captivated with regards to the melody for scar as there's a certain charming quality that scar posesses which I like .
Aishitenai is Acid Black Cherry's 3rd single & the guitar piece for the song was played by AKIHIDE & the same thing goes for yasu's 4th single Fuyu no Maboroshi (Winter's Illusion) which I will review shortly .
In the case of Aishitenai , it's an emotional driven ballad which's more or less almost on the same music vein as scar since both are not rock thumping no.s & are quite subtle in a way or 2 .
I actually like Aishitenai on 1st listen way before I listened to scar so this's good & yasu sounded vulnerable in here too .
Bit Stupid is BLACK LIST's 4th album track & despite the somewhat odd funny title , it's 1 of the songs that takes on a more pop route which's a refreshing change as most of the material you can find in BLACK LIST can be quite dark for you to stomach .
Rakuen (Paradise) is 1 really fast paced & rock thumping song . It's almost in the same vein as other album tracks that I reviewed before so I leave it as it's since it's pretty much a standard rock offering you can find in BLACK LIST .
Black Cherry is Acid Black Cherry's 2nd single & this's 1 song that I really like on 1 listen .
I'm not sure why but I find that Black Cherry sounded like BREAKERZ's SECRET GIRL to a certain extent . Maybe because of the somewhat Jazz influences/vibes that Black Cherry gives out before it lashed out in full Rock mode after yasu belts out the 1st part of Black Cherry .
Not that it's a bad thing since I adore both songs & it helps that BREAKERZ really respects Acid Black Cherry's body of work so there .
Murder Licence is track #9 & oh boy oh , I had strong deja vu vibes of DAIGO☆STARDUST's 5th single SCAPEGOAT on 1st listen as the guitar riffs being given off by Murder Licence is really strong/prominent .
This song is probably 1 of the songs in BLACK LIST that's more hard rock driven & unlike other album tracks , there's something about Murder Licence that I like . Maybe because of the subtle Gospel influences you can hear in the background of the song .
Fuyu no Maboroshi is Acid Black Cherry's 4th single & the final single you can find in BLACK LIST & like what I said before , aside from Aishitenai , BREAKERZ's AKIHIDE is credited as the one who played the guitar piece for Fuyu no Maboroshi .
As the title suggests , you can hear quite a fair amount of winter influences going on in Fuyu no Maboroshi . It's not as emotional driven as Aishitenai with it being a power rock song but this's still really worth listening/checking out .
DRAGON CARNIVAL is track #11 & you somewhat or another can sense that this's a no nonsense rock song . It's not as depressing/dark as some of the songs in BLACK LIST . It's basically a good song to jam alongside with .
Prologue End is the final track in BLACK LIST & it's also the longest track , clocking at 6:13 mins .
The 1st thing that greets you when you take Prologue End a listen is beautiful piano melodies in the introduction . The song slowly takes on a life of its own where it branches out to something which the music style's almost simliar to the 1st song in BLACK LIST , sins .
Except for Prologue End's case , it's pretty much simple & heartfelt & you can feel just how much emotions that yasu gives off at the final league of BLACK LIST .
BLACK LIST is pretty much a solid Acid Black Cherry album . I was a bit skeptical in trying out yasu's solo material & also I had no exposure as to how his band Janne Da Arc sounds like .
But after listening on what yasu has to offer for his solo project , I might consider to try out Janne Da Arc's material in the future & since he pretty much writes & composes everything in Acid Black Cherry , you have to give props to him .
Guess this shows at the end of the day , you shouldn't let someone's image get in the way in trying out an artiste's material . I had that with regards to DAIGO☆STARDUST but after I broke down that barrier with DAIGO's past solo career alter ego , I discovered this simple lesson & it's now evident & proof it also applies to Acid Black Cherry too .
yasu's 2nd solo album Q.E.D. will be reviewed in due time .

Saito Kazuyoshi - Zutto Suki Datta (I Have Always Liked You)
Cover For Both CD Only Regular & Limited Editions :

Tracklist :
1) Zutto Suki Datta (I Have Always Liked You)
2) Wurm no Komori Uta (Warm Lullaby)
3) Phoenix (Live at NIPPON BUDOKAN 2010.3.5)
4) Run Away ~Konna Ame Ja~ (~In Such Rain~) (Live at NIPPON BUDOKAN 2010.3.5) (Limited Edition Track)
Zutto Suki Datta (I Have Always Liked You) is Saito Kazuyoshi's 38th single & it was released on 21st April .
The single debuted at #8 with 1st week sales of 14,547 & I will only be reviewing the A-side & the 1st B-side Wurm no Komori Uta (Warm Lullaby) since the other 2 B-sides are live tracks renditions with Phoenix is being found as track #8 in Saito's 13th album Tsuki ga Noboreba which's a fantastic record I have to say .
Fresh off from composing the score for the film Golden Slumber , Zutto Suki Datta's Saito's first single release of 2010 .
In addition to being the theme song for the Shiseido IN & ON ad , the music video for the A-side which's a romantic rock song features Saito as Sir Paul McCartney in a reenactment of the famous Beatles rooftop concert .
Saito has a reputation among music fans as he comes up with songs that has a catchy chorus & I think this statement is very true & evident especially after you give Zutto Suki Datta a listen .
Even if you're not familiar with his material , I'm very sure you will find the melody for the A-side extremely familiar .
On 1st listen , Zutto Suki Datta caught me by surprise . I did find it a bit cheesy but thank goodness it's not as bad as what I had at 1st for Don't Worry Be Happy . Somehow or another , Zutto Suki Datta has this charming feeling attached to it which's nice & cool .
The B-side Wurm no Komori Uta is a ballad & contrasts Zutto Suki Datta very well . Unlike the A-side , Wurm no Komori Uta takes on a more old fashioned old school route & it's just Saito & an acoustic guitar backing him up which's proof that sometimes simplicity's best .
Saito Kazuyoshi's 1 musician that I respect very much & this's evident in his latest single offering Zutto Suki Datta .
He has been in the business for 17 years & counting & doesn't show any signs in slowing down in putting out great top notch material & here's to another single release that I hope he can put out in due time .

BENI - Yura Yura (Slowly Shaking)

Yura Yura (Slowly Shaking) is the 1st A-side of BENI's 8th single Yura Yura / Gimme Gimme♥ which will be released on 5th May .
The 1st A-side is about the "wavering feelings you have after a break and how you want to move on" .
Both Yura Yura & Gimme Gimme♥ are no doubt in the same music vein of R&B and Pop that BENI's known for but there's just something different about the 1st A-side I feel .
For once , Yura Yura leans a bit more towards R&B while Gimme Gimme♥ is a lot more pop than the 1st A-side .
Either way , both are really good songs even though I wish that BENI could have make 1 A-side a ballad in order to contrast things well & nicely since this's after all her 1st double A-side single release .
bye bye DJ HASEBE REMIX serves as the B-side in the single .
